remembering my 'loco' nights

for those who are not familiar with cebu, el loco is a mexican restaurant, a fine one, located at skyrise bldg AsiaTown IT park.

actually its not just a restaurant for us, its a home… at least it had been 2 me for my last 10 months there… hehehe

i had known the place through its owner, my student, miguel. the food is great and the service is excellent, but this blog is not gonna be about the place per se rather the company i enjoy wen im there…

if ur familiar with "mensa," sacred heart actuali has its own version of it and thats the group i hang out with wen i visit el loco. from that u will already hav an idea of how noisy the group is… hahaha everyone always has something to say and if id put it in a word a session there would be a "circus."

wats so nyc about the composition of the group is that its very diverse, the only two common denominators of the members would be their IQ and their intellectual arrogance hahahaha… im not even sure if everyone is within the margin of sanity hahahah…

el loco night is always something to look forward to… id go there full of dignity but always go home shattered and less of a person, hahaha yet i crave for the boritos and the insults stuffed in it. their blue ice tea paired with so much profanity is very addictive too. for some reason, its walls kinda have the power to suspend all existing norms of morality that even I, a teacher, am not spared of the sarcasms and execrations.

maybe thats y i love the place. it has no room for anything other than truthfulness…. and uhmmm… cursing of course hahaha

as to the parents of the members of the gang who have expressed their fear that their sons might be ‘happy’ because they are spending more time with the group than with girls, well, parents, they’r not fags (i can’t assure you though, we never know hahaha) they’r just not ordinary kids, they are the few ones who has access to the ultimate truths in life and the handful who takes pleasure in fine dining and finer conversation.

too bad i wont be having that anymore. some good things just don’t last.
